When you register at your area's test site (below), you and your location's Test Site Coordinator will receive an email confirmation. Your Test Site Co-Ordinator will contact you if anything unusual occurs. Otherwise, you may just show up to the test site on the dates published. The tests are NOT mailed to you - they are mailed to the testing coordinator who will bring them to the testing site. There are no refunds for any reason after the registration deadline as the proctors are hired and the tests are paid for immediately. If traffic, or illness, or an emergency delay you, contact your Test Site Coordinator and let them know what has happened. They have certain protocols to follow. You won't have many options, but they will do their best. Test Grades offered comply with your state's home schooling laws. For example, NC doesn't require first graders to be tested, we won't offer it. Please note in comments section when checking out on what Test Grade you are ordering. Cost: $45 per student. Four weeks before the test date, the price increases to $50. Test registration will close 3 weeks before the testing date. As a norm-referenced test, the Stanford-10 not only offers the home-educator information on their student's achievement, it also provides comparisons based on nationwide test results. Only the parent sees the results and receives a complete test analysis. Depending on state laws, tests are offered each April - June with registration beginning in January and ending in March. We will do our best to return results to individual families in time for state compliance. Please be gracious, as we can not control Stanford Scoring or the U.S. Mail errors that could cause unusual delays. If your state does not recognize the Stanford-10 tests for homeschoolers, we can offer Stanford-9 testing. (In 2008, Florida is using Stanford-9.
